Manuscript Collections
The Special Collections Research Center houses over 750 collections of personal papers, organizational records, family papers, and collections of ephemera documenting a wide range of subject areas including:
Approximately one-third of these collections are fully processed and available for research without restriction. These collections are listed in the Center's Guide to Processed Manuscript and Faculty Papers, an alphabetical listing with short descriptions of the scope of each collection. Inventories to many (but not all) of the processed manuscript and faculty papers can be found on a separate Manuscripts Inventory Index.
Please contact Special Collections for additional information about the Center's processed manuscript collections. Information about unprocessed accessions should also be directed to the curator, and requests for access to unprocessed materials must be submitted in writing.
