Planning a Research Trip:

Plan ahead for your research visit, and contact us by email or phone (618) 453-2516 beforehand to discuss your interests. This will give us time to pull material from the stacks and have it available upon your arrival. Most University Archives records are housed in remote storage buildings and require at least twenty-four hour notice for retrieval. Access to University Archives material is limited to use in the reading room of the Special Collections Research Center. The Reading Room is located on the 2nd floor of Morris Library, and is open Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Out of town researchers planning a trip to Carbondale should consult the SIUC Visitor Information site for driving directions, parking information, and campus maps.
